Description

In order to be married at the Cathedral, couples must participate our marriage preparation program. 

Besides meeting with a priest to discuss necessary wedding prepratation, the couple will need to attend the Initial Information Meeting/Foccus Workshop and Pre-Cana Workshop.  Couples need to attend only one class from each workshop.  Both workshops need to be completed at least three months prior to the couple’s scheduled wedding date.  A Sponsor Couple will contact the engaged couple to discuss their Foccus results.

If you are newly engaged and desire to be married at the Cathedral or you and your spouse are interested in becoming a Sponsor Couple to help counsel and offer support to newly engaged couples, please contact Danielle Schumacher at the Rectory at 815-722-6653 x 12 for more information.

Meeting Schedule

Information Meeting/Foccus Workshop

Meets from 7-9 pm on February 16, August 10 and November 16, 2010.

Pre-Cana Workshop

Meets from 9 am until noon on June 12 and September 18, 2010.
