Katie truly lives her life that is pleasing to Our Lord and Mary.  Katie has is proudly married to her husband, Mushtaq and the proud mommy of Anthony (5) and Maria (2). Katie taught in the Diocese of Joliet as well as in Schiller Park School District 81 for six years before Anthony was born. Prior, Katie played softball at Lewis University, so she left the classroom to pay it forward with her athletic and leadership skills as a full time fitness and nutrition coach from home, helping others to achieve their health and fitness goals as she runs a team of other coaches who do likewise. Katie leads the Baptismal Prep workshops here at the Cathedral, preparing new parents for their children's baptism, as she welcomes them into the ongoing community of new parents here in the parish.  She also helps in our RCIA program and runs a Facebook group for a community of Catholic women to grow in their faith through book discussions every month.
