Closed January 30, 2019

Dear St. Raymond Families,

It appears God is punctuating our efforts for Catholic Schools Week with some severe weather this week!  We will be closed on Wednesday due to the extreme temperatures.  Thursday is still up in the air.  A decision will made as we get closer so that we can see exactly what the temperatures will do.

We will continue with our Catholic Schools Week schedule as is and if we miss a day it will be made up the following week.

Student Appreciation Day will be made up next Monday with the exception of the pancake lunch which will be on Friday. This includes the Spelling Bee.

Wednesday will be made up next Wednesday, February 6th, since it is Teacher for the Day.  We will begin with mass at 8 AM with Bishop Conlon.

Because mass was supposed to be Wednesday this week and we want to make sure we gather as a community of faith, we will move mass to Friday at 8 AM with Fr. Ryan.   All are welcome to join!  Our assembly with Matt Wilhelm will remain at 10 AM.

If we cancel on Thursday, Parent Appreciation Day will be Tuesday next week.  This include the family picnic and the Variety Show.  This is only if we cancel on Thursday.

Tomorrow is Teacher Appreciation Day.  Originally it was a regular uniform day, but students may dress down.  It is a little something to hold them to next Monday for their appreciation day.  8th grade should wear their class t-shirt since they will be playing against the teachers in the volleyball in the afternoon.

Please take the opportunity to thank our generous and hard working teachers for making St. Raymond a place of excellence.  Their efforts are noble and exceptional.

 Stay warm and be safe!

Ms. Hill
