Sundays After Mass

Topics to help us continue understanding, deepening, and practicing our Catholic faith

  • May 4- Discovering the Gifts God Has Given You

Katie Choudhary, our Director of Religious Education, will help people consider their gifts and talents, especially in light of using them for God's service in our lives.

We will begin at noon in the Cathedral in the St. Joseph transcept.

  • June 8- Catholics and Scripture

We encounter scripture at every Mass

but also, hopefully, in our daily prayer and study.  Often, people don’t feel prepared or qualified to engage scripture well.   This presentation will be about some basic understandings of history, interpretation and resources.

We will start at noon in the Cathedral, the St. Joseph transcept.

  • July 20- Using the Daily Examen

This technique of reflection on the events of the day, looking for God’s presence is an ancient practice in the Church and St. Ignatius of Loyola adapted the practice and strongly encouraged its use.

  • August 3- St. Raymond Nonnatus

Let's learn a bit more about the life of this man for whom our parish is named.

At noon in the Cathedral, in the St. Joseph transcept.
