Today, we celebrate the Feast Day of St. Raymond Nonnatus and will reflect upon this extraordinary man and the rich tapestry of holy men and women whose relics, statues, and images are venerated within these walls. Each figure holds a unique place in the spiritual heritage of our community, their lives offering us wisdom, inspiration, and the enduring presence of God’s grace.
October 5- Keep Praying
Prayer is the heartbeat of faith, the sustaining breath of relationship with God. An active prayer life is essential, not only as an act of obedience but as a means of transformation, comfort, guidance, and praise. Yet, for all its centrality, prayer can at times feel elusive, repetitive, or even daunting. How does one approach prayer with both reverence and authenticity? What methods can sustain a vibrant prayer life, and what pitfalls might hinder its growth? Here, we explore diverse approaches to prayer, common stumbling blocks, and creative ideas for deepening one’s communion with the Divine.
