We come to St. Raymond's to seek and understand Jesus Christ. Whether we've been Catholic our whole lives or are just at the beginning of a journey of faith, this Alpha program will be an opportunity to connect with others, get some basic content about faith in Jesus Christ, and have meaningful conversations.
Be interested- this will be good.
Tuesdays,
Sept 16 - November 18, 2025,
6-8pm
CONNECTION
Whether it’s a group of friends gathered around a kitchen table or a quick phone call, times of connecting are important.
Alpha nights will include prayer and music, and time for connection over a meal at St. Ray's to relax and build friendships.
CONTENT
Alpha's content is about the basics of faith in Jesus Christ. Even when we're life-long Catholics, we learn something new, are refreshed and reminded, or re-engaged but having a good lesson.
Topics around "Who is Jesus?”, “Why and how do I pray?” and “How does God guide us?” will all lead into time for conversation.
CONVERSATION
One of the most important parts of any Alpha is the chance to share thoughts and ideas on the topic in a small group format.
Guests hear from others and have an opportunity to contribute/share which will move each of us along on our journey of faith.
Alpha is a larger international effort that includes Christian communities of various denominations. Of course, our program at St. Ray's will be in the Catholic context. Click here to understand more about Alpha.
At this point, just let us know that you're out there and you're thinking about it. No commitment- just interest. We'll be in touch to let you know more.
We will have need for parishioners who want to help out with the program- from hosting and meal prep to casting the invite out to friends and neighbors.
