Celebrating the Jubilee Year
The Cathedral of St. Raymond has been chosen to be a Jubilee Site in the Diocese of Joliet.
By visiting the cathedral, you can gain a plenary indulgence.
The purpose of indulgences is, through prayer and acts of charity, to obtain remission of the temporal punishment due to sins that have already been forgiven in the Sacrament of Confession. Indulgences may be applied to the individual or to a soul in Purgatory.
Please invite others to receive this special Jubilee plenary indulgence. Groups are welcome.
Please contact our parish office for more details to schedule your visit.
